Melissa Preston, CPA

Chief Executive Officer

Melissa Preston is an award-winning Certified Public Accountant and National Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Business program alumni, bringing more than 30 years of vast experience to the financial industry.

At the introduction of Preston’s career, she worked as a consultant for several organizations and internationally renowned, Big 4 Accounting Firm, Deloitte, LLP. During that tenure, she realized she wanted to do more to affect change in the industry and the business and lives of her clients. In 2005, Melissa took control of her future and founded Preston CPA, a certified public accounting firm located in the heart of downtown Atlanta. Preston understood the anxiety that surrounded financial areas like auditing, accounting, and taxes and it was her mission to eliminate that anxiety and replace it with unwavering confidence. From her firm’s serious take on education by adhering to the Continuing Professional Education standards to the firm’s unique quality and culture they have been able to transform situations that could have a negative impact by thinking outside the box and delivering favorable results.

As a minority and woman owned business, Melissa values giving back to the community. Being awarded the Invest Atlanta 2016 Community Favorite, her firm rose to become one of Atlanta’s favored financial organizations. Her Preston CPA audit team performs A-133 Compliance Audits for state, local and federal organizations via contracting and sub-contracting services. Their continued relationship with major Clients such as the Georgia Lottery Corporation was built by providing high standard of services.

Bridgette Knight

Vice President of Gaming Operations

Bridgette Knight is a seasoned management executive with over 25 years of cross-industry experience in strategy development, specializing in harmonizing processes and people across sectors ranging from state agencies to private corporations.

Currently serving as Vice President of Gaming Operations at Preston CPA, Ms. Knight began her career in the gaming industry in 2001, initially supporting the Security/Legal Division and Draw Staff. She later advanced into lottery management, overseeing lottery drawings for over nine years during her 14+ year tenure with the Georgia Lottery Corporation.

Since joining Preston CPA in 2022, Ms. Knight has brought her extensive expertise to roles focused on business strategy, organizational development, operations, corporate sustainability, and learning solutions - guiding the growth and performance of the Gaming Operations Division.

A native of Atlanta, Georgia, Ms. Knight holds a degree in Political Science from Tuskegee University and is certified in Event Planning.

Andy Carroll

Managing Director

Andy Carroll has held the position of Managing Director with Preston CPA since joining the firm in 2008. With Nearly 20 years of entrepreneurial experience, Andy brings extensive business experience to the firm. He yields expertise in corporate policies, operations, budgeting, and the development and maintenance of Total Quality Management systems to ensure that the firm complies with all statutory regulations.

Prior to entering the private business world, Andy worked in academia as a college dean and instructor teaching curriculum development. Andy’s college teaching background combined with his entrepreneurial experience and business accounting expertise, makes him uniquely qualified to help clients better understand their finances and achieve their business goals. It is his love for quality and order that allows him to be an indispensable contributor to the firm, it’s vendors, partners, and clients.

Josh Delk

Vice President of Operations

Josh Delk is the Vice President of Operations at Preston CPA, bringing a distinct blend of creative vision and operational excellence to the firm. An Ohio native and the newest addition to the leadership team, Josh holds a degree in Vocal Performance with a minor in Management from Columbia College Chicago. His artistic foundation fuels a unique, people-centered approach to business – one that balances innovation with structure and creativity with strategy.

With a career spanning multiple industries and roles, Josh has developed a comprehensive perspective on how organizations function at every level. This cross-industry experience enhances his ability to lead diverse teams, streamline systems, and deliver results that align with both short-term goals and long-term vision. Known for his calm command, collaborative spirit, and sharp business acumen, Josh is the kind of leader who moves both vision and business forward in a world that’s constantly evolving.
